Hello Pam, I did not know I would find you as part of this online community. I had a great time at the conference. It was great to interact with you from the airport on the way to Mt. Hermon. I just checked out your blog and it looks great. I loved your comments comparing frying eggs and backseat driving. Folks, check it out. Dennis

Hi Pam,

I remember you, too. Every year I've learned something new at Mount Hermon. I plan to go next year, too.

Nice page, Pam. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and photos. I look forward to all the great things God will do through us and a reunion of the scholarship group. I want to continue to pay it forward.

Hi Pam. I'm so glad you posted a picture here of the cross on the mountain. I had wondered what it looked like but knew I'd never make it up in time for the morning hike. Hope you're hard at work with post-conference assignments.

About Me:
I write a weekly inspirational newspaper column, and work as a correspondent writer/photographer for this same daily paper. I host a podcast called "Daybreak Devotionals," teach Kids Super Church, and love telling stories. My newspaper editor once told me -- she thinks I have "blonde" blood - well, at least it isn't "gray" yet!
----------------------------------

I am represented my Terry Burns at Hartline Literary Agency. I am looking for open doors for my "Faith Now" series, and my Christian living book "If Only" - Living a Life without Regret.

My latest book proposal "When Angel Sings Off-Key, God Hears Music" -- a humorous Christian living book endorsed by former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee!

What's your Platform?

Platform.

It's a word I hear at conferences. It's a word I read about on blogs. It's a word I saw in a recent email where an editor wrote, "Not a large enough platform."

I do speak locally. I do have a readership with the daily paper in my region. I am recognized at Wal-mart (ha). I write articles.

And so in 2005 I began a podcast "Daybreak Devotionals" -- Energy for Your Day. A recent tally showed some 35,000 feeds in the past year. I've started a newsletter and it's grown to around 200.
