HI there. I remember meeting you. Wow, you've really learned a lot of different aspects to writing from this conference. I plan to attend next year too.

About Me:
I'm an elementary school teacher, missionary, ordained minister, speaker, and freelance writer. During my missionary career I served in Beirut, Lebanon, Amman, Jordan, and Papua New Guinea.
*I learned my articles could be submitted as reprints. I've done that.
*I learned editors appreciate sidebars with my articles. When appropriate, I now submit sidesbars.
*I learned how to request assignments for a set of seven daily devotionals. I've done that.
*I learned how to write query letters for articles. Sometimes I get a "yes' answer!
*I've learned how to write book proposals, and even had some "request to send" from editors.
*I've learned how to accept rejection letters and move on.
*I learned more about good writing, and am trying to apply what I learn and improve my work.
I give thanks to the helpful, talented, caring faculty at Mount Hermon for all they do to teach, encourage, and motivate me to be the best writer I can.
